Miller Motorsports Park Driving School Joins Forces with Ford Racing.

The high-performance driving school at Miller Motorsports Park is pleased to announce a far-reaching relationship with one of the world’s most renowned manufacturers. The school has joined forces with Ford Racing, and has been renamed the Ford Racing School of High Performance Driving.

The Ford Racing School of High Performance Driving utilizes Ford vehicles exclusively, featuring Ford Mustangs and the Ford GT supercar, and will offer a wide range of driving programs. It is the only Ford Racing-affiliated driving school in North America.

Seeing Red: GT500 Now Available in White & Red.

Can a unique vehicle be made more unique? Ford thinks so and has proved the point with the release of the Shelby GT500 Red Stripe Appearance Package.
Enthusiasts can choose the new package on a limited number of 2007 Shelby GT500 models to be produced for approximately five weeks between early May and the end of the 2007 model year production in late June.

“The Red package is all about exclusivity,” said Dan Geist, Mustang marketing manager. “The Shelby GT500 is an enthusiasts’ car. We’re limiting our production of this package and that fact along with the Shelby heritage makes the Red appearance package a dream for collectors.”

WMR Visits Shelby Autos to See the Shelby GT Transformed.

hpim0688.jpghpim0688.jpgWhen we heard that Shelby would be letting another pony out of the stable, we had to stop in and see what all the chatter was about.    What we found is that the big news at Shelby Autos is about the Shelby GT, which you may consider similar to the Shelby GT350 of the past.  

It’s no doubt you know the name if you have been around the automotive industry for any even the shortest amount of time. Carroll Shelby, the man responsible for many ledendary mustangs of the past, as well as the new 2007 GT500, and the new 2007 Shelby GT-H Rent A Racer package from Hertz, has yet a few more tricks up his sleve for the S197 Mustang.

Ford Motor Company is expanding its high-performance Mustang stable even further with a new 4.6-liter V-8-powered, 319-horsepower Shelby GT coupe for 2007.

“Our goal is to offer a steed for every need,” explains John Felice, Ford brand general marketing manager. “The new Shelby GT advances that goal, offering a low-volume, extremely collectable Mustang for enthusiasts. It also offers a few more customers the opportunity to experience firsthand the rich performance legacy of Mustang and Carroll Shelby.”
